Assign and End Employee Roles in iTacit
Add a New Role to an Employee
1. Log in to the iTacit Admin site.
2. Navigate to Menu > Employees > Employee Manager.
3. Use the search bar to locate the employee by name, employee number, or
email. Click Search.
4. Click on the employee’s name to open their profile.
5. In the Roles section, select New to add a role.
a. Select a new role in the Role dropdown menu.
b. Enter the Start Date of the new role.
c. Select the Default Role checkbox.
d. Select Done to close the Role window
6. Select Apply.

End a Previous Role Assignment
1. Log in to the iTacit Admin site.
2. Navigate to Menu > Employees > Employee Manager.
3. Use the search bar to locate the employee by name, employee number, or
email. Click Search.
4. Click on the employee’s name to open their profile.
5. To end a previous role, click on that role.
a. Enter the End Date of the old role.
b. Select Done to close the Role window
6. Select Apply.
