Creating Display Values

iTacit offers a few sample scales to determine the collective responses of your survey, such as a Satisfaction Survey and a Strongly Agree to Disagree scale. Additional value ranges may be created.

1. Log in to the iTacit Admin site.

2. Navigate to Menu > Surveys > Configuration: Display Values.

3. Click New to begin creating a new set of Display Values.

4. a Name that describes the scoring scale (e.g., “Satisfaction Scale” or “Engagement Index”).

5. Click Apply to save the name and unlock the value entry fields.

6. Choose a predetermined permission group or click Change... to manually assign permissions.

7. Go to the Values tab.

8. Click New in the Values section to add a new scoring category.

9. Enter the Display Value label (e.g., “Very Satisfied”).

10. Add a General Descriptor (optional) to clarify the meaning of the value.

11. Enter the Range by specifying the minimum and maximum percentage or score that defines the category.

12. Click Apply to save the value. Repeat the steps to add all necessary scoring categories to the set.

13. Click Done once all values are entered to save the complete set.

Your Display Value set will now be available for use when configuring survey scoring in the Calculated Value tab.
